Esri has announced that ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap and its associated suite of tools, including ArcGlobe, etc.) will no longer be available through the Education Site License beginning July 1, 2024. This means that all current ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap) users will need to transition to ArcGIS Pro or ArcGIS Online by June 30, 2024. ArcGIS is a geographic information system for working with maps and geographic information to create and use maps, compile geographic data, analyze mapped information, share and discover geographic information, and manage geographic information in a database. Note: This Software is only available on Windows operating systems.

Students, faculty, and staff can get ArcGIS for their personal computers at no charge.  It is only available on Windows Operating Systems
