Introduction

The Bulk Actions feature allows faculty to bulk edit course content and sections. Bulk Actions can modify multiple activities and resources by changing their availability, moving them, deleting them, or duplicating them. It can also modify multiple topics or sections by changing their availability, moving them, or deleting them.

1. Turn editing on in your course to enable the Bulk actions link.

Enabling Bulk Actions will cause three changes to your screen:

  1. Editing icons will be removed.
  2. Checkboxes will appear in front of each section and content title in your course.
  3. A footer will appear with several editing options.

2. Click the checkbox icons to select content or sections you want to modify.

Duplication

Bulk Actions can duplicate course content, but does not currently support bulk duplication of course topics or sections. If you select course content and a topic or section, the option to Duplicate in the footer will disappear.

3. Use the icons in the footer to perform an action in bulk.

4. When you're done, click the X icon in the footer to close Bulk Actions.
