Summary

Kendall Hunt is a web-based software program used by the Health, Leisure and Exercise Science Department as a fitness assessment and reporting program. The assessment includes a variety of health-related physical fitness tests that assess aerobic capacity; muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility; and body composition. Scores from these assessments are compared to Healthy Fitness Zone® standards to determine overall physical fitness and suggest areas for improvement when appropriate. Kendall Hunt was developed in an effort to provide physical educators with a tool that would facilitate communicating fitness testing results to students and to parents. The assessment measures three components of health-related physical fitness that have been identified as important to overall health and function: aerobic capacity; body composition and muscular strength, endurance, and flexibility. Can be used for Grades K-12.
