Changing Public Access at the Page Level

If you want the public to see only specific pages in a Space, first grant public Space permissions, then use Page Restrictions to limit access to any pages you don’t want the public to view.

  1. After granting public access to the Space, go to the pages you want to restrict and, click the three-dot icon at the top right of the page, then click Restrictions.
Select restrictions from the three-dot drop-down menu.

  2. Click the Restrictions drop-down and select Viewing and editing restricted.
    Select viewing and editing restricted.

  3. Select only the users or groups you want to have access to the page and then click Apply.
Select only the users you want to have access to the page.

  4. The public, who have view access to the Space, will no longer be able to view content on page(s) that have been restricted to certain users or groups

Move your pages as you work:

If you've got an external facing site, or if your team is writing something like policies for the rest of your organization, you can work on them in your team Space and then move them to an external facing space once they're done. Alternatively, you can work on something in your personal space, and then once it is finished, move it to the official space that it needs to be under.

    Lockdown pages until ready:

Working on something that you don't want everyone to know about until it's ready? Lock down your page while you work on it, and only change the page restrictions once it's ready to go public.
