Microsoft Copilot is an AI-powered assistant designed to help you with a variety of tasks, including text creation, programming, and image processing. Copilot is available to all faculty, staff, and students through their App State Microsoft accounts.

App State strongly recommends using Microsoft Copilot, our enterprise solution, to ensure data protection and compliance.

Copilot with Data Protection offers a more secure alternative to consumer-oriented generative AI services like ChatGPT, Gemini, or the non-enterprise version of Copilot.

At the start of a chat session, any identifying information about your account and organization is automatically removed from the chat data.

Microsoft safely retains your prompts to enhance Copilot's performance. This data is used to improve the accuracy and functionality of Copilot while ensuring your privacy and security are protected.
