PaperCut Mobility print can be used to print on campus from personal computers, tablets, and mobile devices. 

Note: This option may not work with all Android devices.

Setting Up Mobility Print

  1. Make sure you are connected to the asu-secure WiFi. In your browser, navigate to Set Up Printing for Windows and click the button that says Download and run Mobility Print (Step 1).

  2. Open the installer from your downloads folder.

    Open the installer from the downloads.

  3. Click Next on the PaperCut Mobility Print Client Setup Wizard.

    Click next in the PaperCut mobility client setup wizard.

  4. Wait for the client to install.

    Wait for installation to complete.

  5. Click Finish.

    Click finish to finish setup.

  6. In your browser, navigate to PaperCut Print Setup for Windows and click the button that says Connect and get my Printers (Step 2).

  7. Click Open Link in the pop-up to allow mobility print to open in the downloaded client.

    Click open link to allow mobility print to link with the PaperCut print client.

  8. You will see a pop-up that says Fetching your Printer.

    After your printers have been fetched, you will be able to print.

  9. You can now print as you normally would.

  2. Navigate to: http://152.10.2.48:9163/client-setup/known-host/macos.html
       
  3. Click the Download button to download Mobility Print.

    Follow the steps for setting up mobility print on a Mac.


  4. After the download is complete, click on your Downloads in the right corner of the dock.
    Click on your downloads folder in the Dock.

  5. Click on the PaperCut Client install box.
    Click on the PaperCut Client install box.

  6. The PaperCut Mobility Print Wizard will automatically open. Click Continue.
    Follow the PaperCut mobility print wizard to install the PaperCut Client.

  7. Click Continue.
    Click continue through Software License Agreement.

  8. Click Agree to continue the installation.
    Agree to license installation agreement.

  9. Click Install.
    Click on standard installation on a Mac HD.

  10. Enter the username and password for your device then click Install Software.
    Enter your App State username and password.

  11. Once the installation is complete, click Close.
    After installation is complete, you will be ablet o print.

  12. Print as you normally would, select the appropriate print queue, and click Print.
    Select the appropriate printers when you are ready to print.

  13. Enter your App State username and password, then click OK.
    When prompted, enter your App State username and password.
  1. Make sure you are connected to the asu-secure WiFi. 

  2. Navigate to: http://152.10.2.48:9163/ios/profile

  3. If the download does not start automatically, tap the Download button to download your Mobility Print profile.

    Navigate to the PaperCut setup site for iPhone or iPad and click download.

  4. In the pop-up, tap Allow to allow the PaperCut site to download the profile.

  5. Close the Profile Downloaded dialog box.

    Close the dialog box once the profile is downloaded.

  6. On an iPhone Tap General > Profile > PaperCut Mobility Print for iOS > Install.

    In your phone, under general and profile settings, click install on the PaperCut Mobility Print for iOS installation page.

  7. On an iPad, open the device settings, and tap the right arrow beside Profile Downloaded.

  8. Tap the right arrow beside PaperCut Mobility Print for iOS and then tap Install.

    Click the right arrow beside PaperCut Mobility Print for iOS and click in stall.

  9. Tap Install to install the profile.

    Tap install to begin installing the profile.

  10. Tap Done.

    Once the installation is complete tap done.

  11. To print, tap the Share icon on your device and tap Print.

    Print by tapping the share icon and selecting print from those options.

  12. Tap the right arrow beside No Printer Selected.

    Tap the right arrow next to Printer to select your printer.

  13. Choose your printer.

    Choose the correct printer.

  14. Tap Print.

    Click print to send your print job to a printer.

  1. Make sure you are connected to the asu-secure WiFi. Open Safari on your iOS device and navigate to the http://152.10.2.48:9163/client-setup/known-host/android.html.

  2. Launch the Mobility Print app.

  3. Tap the box that says Tap here and check the Mobility Print Service is on and make sure Mobility Print and Default Print Service are both turned on.

    Check that both mobility print and the default server are turned on.

  4. In the Android settings find the Mobility Print app and allow app permissions.
