Summary
REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases. REDCap provides audit trails for tracking data manipulation and user activity, as well as automated export procedures for seamless data downloads to Excel, PDF, and common statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, Stata, R). Also included are a built-in project calendar, a scheduling module, ad hoc reporting tools, and advanced features, such as branching logic, file uploading, and calculated fields.

How do I request this service?
No action is required other than logging into redcap.appstate.edu.
Who do I contact for problems or issues?
Call the Help Desk at 828-262-6266, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or enter a support request at support.appstate.edu.
ITS and the Help Desk can answer basic questions about how to log in to REDCap. The Research Design & Analysis unit can work with researchers on study methodology and statistical support.
