Cognition is a cloud-based platform that allows users to host online experiments posted in javascript. Congition.run also provides an opportunity to collect data with more complex tasks and to run these studies in an on-campus lab or via online data collection services like prolific.

How do I purchase a license?
The basic version of Congition.run is free.
Individual licenses can be purchased directly from their website.
Those who wish to purchase a Team license should submit an IT Acqusition request support ticket at https://support.appstate.edu.
How do I obtain a license?
All other uses should submit an IT Acqusition request support ticket at https://support.appstate.edu. Faculty performing research should include a description of their research project, including whether or not it has received IRB approval, research subject demographics, timeline, etc.
How do I request this service?
Faculty who wish to purchase a Team license should submit an IT Acquisition request at https://support.appstate.edu.
