Welcome to the Writing Resources Hub for Appalachian State University! |
At Appalachian State, the Writing Across the Curriculum Program (WAC) and the University Writing Center (UWC) work collaboratively to promote and sustain a culture of writing across campus. While WAC focuses on supporting the teaching of writing across the institution by offering pedagogical resources, individual consultations, classroom instructional sessions, and faculty development activities, the UWC focuses on supporting writers at all levels and all stages of the writing process.
Additionally, the English Department houses the Rhetoric & Composition Program and the Writing, Rhetorics, and Technical Communication Program, which offer courses and curricula that fulfill General Education and degree-specific requirements.
