The purpose of this document is to define the processes and standards around the computer refresh plan for Academic Affairs. All full-time faculty and staff are included in the new computer refresh planeligible for a new laptop every four years, whereas adjunct faculty and other part-time employees will be provided with a best available computer.One goal of this plan is to get to a reduce the number of computers that an individual faculty/staff member is issued. By providing a laptop instead of a desktop computer, the need for multiple computers is reduced.
All laptops will come with a 4-year, complete care warranty that includes coverage for accidental damage.
