Eligible employees may follow the steps listed below to apply for a tuition waiver:

  1. Apply to the University where you want to enroll.
    1. Enrollment options: first year, transfer, graduate, non-degree seeking.
  2. Register for a course(s).
  3. Complete the Tuition Waiver Request in Banner Self-Service.
  4. Monitor your Tuition Waiver Status and follow up with your manager to ensure deadlines are met.
  5. Look for an email confirmation that the waiver was approved and...

the course is at App Statethe approved waiver will be automatically submitted to Student Accounts to be applied to your account.
the course is NOT at App State1) Log in to Tuition Waiver Status
2) Expand for details
3) Click button "Send Email" (you will receive an email to your App State account)
4) Forward the email to the enrolling Institution

APPROVAL FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS

Law enforcement officers employed at constituent institutions or affiliated entities, excluding student employees who are working as part‐time law enforcement officers, may use an unlimited number of tuition waivers per academic year with approval from the officer’s manager AND campus police chief.
