When using the Confluence Add-On Comala Workflow

If you need workflow approvals with Confluence content, use Comala Workflows to manage your page states

Step-by-step guide

  1. Decide if you need the workflow on a single Confluence page or many Confluence pages.  For a single page, you will want to use Page Mode when creating your workflow. When you use Page Mode, a new copy of the workflow is made which means that you can easily edit the workflow and not affect anything else. The downside is that if you make the same changes across several pages or blog posts, you'll have to manually edit the workflow on each page/blog.  If you're planning touse the workflow on lots of pages, you'll want to make it in Space Mode which allows centralized management of the template and automatic application to content in your space.
  2. Review the Welcome To Workflows documentation which includes the Workflow Authoring Guide and Lessons you can review for Getting Started.
