If enabled by the instructor, the group messaging feature in AsULearn allows group members to communicate in a group chat using the messaging feature. This messaging feature can be particularly useful when used with the AsULearn Mobile App.
Step-by-step guide
Follow these steps to enable group messaging
- Go to Groups.
- In the settings for creating the group or modifying an existing group, look for the Group messaging setting.
- Set Group messaging to Yes.
- Save changes.
Group messaging is only an option for members of the group and the user will see the groups they belong to in the messaging drawer. Teachers do NOT see the option for group messaging with groups in a course unless they are added to it.
