Summary

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) department is responsible for:

  • the IAM tool, Bravura
  • Banner Administration and Reporting (BARS) application of approved Banner Admin permissions, and
  • coordination with Banner record stewards with respect to privacy and security.

Who can use this service?

The Identity and Access Management department administrates the Bravura software. The Help Desk personnel have elevated accounts to assist users. All Appalachian users will have access to reset their password and update their security information in 2025.

App State employees may request and receive Banner Administrator tool access after Security Officer approval.

How do I request this service?
