Turnitin is a suite of internet tools that provides various valuable services for evaluating writing assignments. These services include

• assessing the originality of reports,
• facilitating simplified and systematic grading of papers,
• enabling peer review of writing, and
• providing both online and offline access to student-submitted work.

Once a faculty member makes Turnitin available in their AsULearn course, faculty, or students themselves can submit writing assignments for assessment.
