These servers support the Network Time Protocol (NTP) version 3, as described in RFC 1305 and the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) version 4, as described in RFC 2030.
ntp1 and ntp2 synchronize their times from a pool of servers at MCNC on the NCREN network.
