• A Guest account provides brief access to a university device. This access entitles the guest to internet access and basic client software use.
  • Guest accounts are typically given to visiting speakers, lecturers, or vendors.
  • Guest accounts are provided using the campus One Time Use (OTU) account process.
  • Guest accounts are purely a network and support issue and unrelated to Bravura.


  • All OTU account have a set duration.
    • Duration may be a few hours or up to, but not exceeding, one day.
    • Exceeding the duration will immediately end the user's session and prevent further access.
    • Duration extensions must be requested from the original administrator.
  • OTU accounts may be obtained from technical staff within the building (e.g. the Library) or by contacting IT Support Services.
  • An OTU user will receive a username and password allowing them to sign in to systems like an employee.
  • Duo authentication is not utilized on OTU accounts.
  • OTU accounts should not be created for current employees or students.


  • Users may forgo using campus hardware by connecting to our network using their personal device.
  • Public network Wi_fi networks available for guests include: 
    • asu-visitor
    • appstate-guest
  • Universities using Eduroam may connect to our secure network using their campus username and password.
