Summary

Atom Power provides the hardware and software for electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. These chargers are installed on the Hickory campus. Atom Power uses the Epic Charging software platform to provide the management portal for monitoring and management of the charging stations as well as a platform for EV charging station users to activate the service by providing payment.

Who can use this service?

Energy Management/Facilities Operations will be accessing the Atom Power management portal. App State and non-App State affiliates can access and use the EV Charging Stations on the Hickory Campus. QR Codes displayed on the charging stations will allow users to access the software platform for payment and activation of the charging station.

How do I purchase a license?

Software subscription is purchased at the departmental level following established University procurement procedures.
