Understanding the Media Library

The Media Library is where all your uploaded files are stored. This includes:

To Access the Media Library:

  1. From the Dashboard, go to Media > Library.
  2. Use the grid or list view to browse files.

Uploading Media

You can upload media in two ways:

  1. Upload Directly to the Media Library
    1. From the Dashboard, go to Media > Add Media File, or when viewing the Media Library page, click the Add Media File button at the top of the screen..
    2. Drag and drop your file, or click the Select Files button to upload from your computer.
  2. Upload While Editing Content
    1. While editing a page or post, add or edit a module/block that supports media (e.g., Image, Video, etc.).
    2. Upload a new file or select one from the Media Library.

Always add descriptive alt text when uploading images to support accessibility. To add alt text, click on the image you just uploaded and fill in the Alternative Text field.

Keep images under 2500px in width and height in order to prevent upload errors.
