Q. Where do I start Dean's Recommendation?

A. You must always start the Dean's Rec from the Candidate Entry Form.

Q. What to do if you see "Unauthorized Access" or  "Bad Gateway" or "Server Error" while opening the Dean's Rec website?

                                             Cloudflare error message.

A.  i) If you are working from home - make sure you are connected to AppState VPN (Cisco Secure Client) and try refreshing the page.

     ii) If you are already on campus network and still seeing the issue, wait for a minute a try refreshing the page.

Q. What happens if I see the AxiosError: Network Error ?

                                 Axios error message.

A. This is a kind of browser timeout issue. If you reload the page, the error must disappear.


Q. When a college sends back the Dean’s Rec for revisions, where can the department find it?

A. When the college admin sends back the Dean’s Rec for revisions, an email notification is sent to the department admin.

     To understand the specific reason for the revision, the department admin should reach out to the college admin. (Note: We are planning to include the reason directly in the email in a future update)

     Once the department admin is aware of the reason, they should navigate to the Department Admin screen (as shown in the image below), and they will find the Dean’s Rec that needs to be edited.
