Feedback entails comments given to or received from others that writers can use in revising their writing. A teacher may provide feedback, but students also might provide feedback in peer-to-peer sessions. Writers should direct the type of feedback they want from readers by asking questions relevant to their communication purpose. Here is a handout on different kinds of FEEDBACK
See the WAC handout, Ways to Approach Feedback to Student Writing, for in-class peer feedback exercises.
See the WAC handout, How to View Feedback as an Instructor, for some theoretical approaches to evaluating student work.
