When an employee transfers to a new position within the university, their "user profile" in the performance management system transfers to the new manager. In other words, it is not possible to "split" the employee's performance actions to allow the previous manager to complete the performance appraisal, AND allow the new manager to write the new performance plan. Therefore: 

  • If an employee transfers positions before February 1st, the new manager will complete the performance appraisal. 
  • If an employee transfers positions after February 1st, the previous manager must complete the performance cycle (i.e. all 8 steps pictured below) before the employee transfers to their new position.
