New employees can receive credit one time for a Campus Connection for attending one of the "unofficial" Campus Connections listed below. In lieu of a sign-in sheet, employees must post to the onboarding course discussion board for credit. Employees can post to any of the 3 discussion boards in the onboarding course titled Module # Discussion and Reflection.
- Chancellor's Staff Connect
- University Faculty and Staff Meeting (this does not include departmental staff meetings)
- Staff Senate Meetings
The remaining two campus connections must be "qualified" campus connections. When you open the Campus Connection activity in the onboarding course, you will see instructions on how to filter workshops.appstate.edu to see only campus connections (screenshot below).
