Fully remote employees and employees who are not stationed at the Boone campus can satisfy the Campus Connect requirements by completing any of the following activities and posting about their experience or key takeaways on the onboarding course discussion board.

We are working to set up in-person meaningful Campus Connection opportunities at the Hickory Campus. In the meantime, employees at the Hickory Campus can complete the activities below to satisfy this onboarding component. 

  • Complete any LinkedIn Learning video.
  • Complete any OSHR Wellness Webinar.
  • Attend any App State sponsored virtual training/workshop.
  • Attend any App State sponsored cross functional networking or collaborative meetings (does not include departmental staff meetings).
  • Any activity where the employee utilizes community service leave.
