Bravura process
Data structure
- A user with the Former Employee primary affiliation will have an inactive account. Their campus sign in access will be prohibited.
- A user with an active Student role may still list the Former Employee role. Their access will be active while enrolled.
Activation
- Absence of an employment role (e.g. Faculty, Staff, Adjunct, Temp, etc.) will activate the Former Employee role.
- The transition to Former Employee puts a user's Active Account role in a "disablement" status.
- LDAP and AD will be deactivated. The Google account will be placed into an inactive OU.
- Former Employee role activation will terminate a Limited Student role unless their previous position was as a graduate assistantship or student employee.
Departure
- If a user returns to employment at Appalachian State, their Former Employee role will end upon the activation of their active role affiliation.
